The Month of MARY
We thank our May host parishes St. Joseph's Catholic Church and Holy Angels Catholic Church for the beautiful Crowning of Mary and the warm southern Maryland welcome!
This year's Lenten journey we were inspired by the words we received from Father Sass at the Retreat to go forth with courage--beyond the retreat--and ask ourselves, "what is the cross in my life?" We are to make time the remainder of this Lenten season to contemplate this so that when we kiss the cross on Good Friday, we may have clarity of that cross. "Yes, I am afraid of this cross," but with complete trust we will turn to our merciful and gracious Lord who will take us out of this fear of the cross on Easter Sunday! Yes, I believe in the Resurrection! Father's resounding closing words at the retreat: GOD LOVES YOU!

At the March General Meeting at Nativity Catholic Church we were blessed with a warm, vibrant and spiritually rich talk by our guest speaker Carol Monaco of Our Lady of Bethesda and Editor/Writer of Journey to Our Lady in publication for over ten years. We thank Carol with our prayerful gratitude for sharing a written copy of her presentation available below. As we approach the 100th Anniversary of Fatima's first apparition, Carol opened our hearts, inviting us with her words, to like Mary. embrace "all that Our Lady holds dear--God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit," and reminding us that "our mission" is to pray and do good works for the rest of our lives." Enjoy!
Also in March, it was a weekend of blessings for all who attended this year's Lenten Retreat at the Washington Retreat House, with Fr. Pawel Sass, Retreat Master. It was a special time of friendship, prayer, Reconciliation, and Eucharistic celebration.
Theme: Reconciliation, Renewal ... Embracing the Forgiveness
of the Risen Lord
Do not fear anything. It is to keep you in peace that I place [a] priest between your soul
and Myself. The words he will speak to you are My words. Reveal to him your
soul’s greatest secrets. I will give him light to know your soul (Diary, 232).

Thank you to His Holiness for his apostolic blessing to Sodalists in response to our 2016 SPIRITUAL BOUQUET!
The Goal of our life is to live with God Forever.
God, who loves us, gave us life.
Our own response of love allows God's life to flow into us without limit.
All the things in this world are gifts of God ....
